Unfolding Wholeness

Mckenzie Massage

Karla Rose McKenzie Certified Massage Therapist.  I have been practicing for 16  years. I have worked in a Chiropractic setting as well as in a Spa. I graduated from the Minneapolis School of Massage. BAS in Social Studies from UW Eau Claire.

I approach my practice embracing the whole person process. I have integrated my training into a routine to tune up each of the systems within the body through the tools I have learned as I do the massage. The goal is to create a flow to support the clients natural healing process. The outcome is one feels whole and happy.  I can  share appropriate information for the brain/body to work with when requested of me.

Neuromuscular Training- Nuts and bolt training. Nourishes clients muscles and joints, thus supporting relaxation and strength.

Cranial Sacral- balances spine with the brain through light touches and holds.  Can bring a sense of relief, balance and lightness.

LYMPHATIC DRAINAGE MASSAGE: Nourishes fluid flow through muscles and tissues. Tones tissues.  Light work.

HEADACHE RELIEF: Training to work with modalities that help relieve headaches.

TOUCH FOR HEALTH: At this point Touch for Health serves as an organizing system to help myself and my clients understand this great gift of having a body. I admire the man and his son who put the system together.-John(DC) and Mathew Thie(M.Ed) They have a rich legacy of understanding and supporting the body to wholeness.

Acupressure- I took training with Cindy Black of Big Tree School of Natural Healing.  Acupressure points integrated into a wholeness based massage can bring healing and understanding to symptoms a client may be experiencing with their body that can connect to emotions and thinking process as well. My basic training has helped me support clients create a healthy feeling the back, headache relief. alleviate fatigue, resolve in digestive concerns, stuffy nose, sore throat, stuffy ears and better breathing.
